The word is out! Our new and improved Joolz Aer+ is finally here and it's better than ever. We thought it would be useful to share all the ins and outs about this super compact & lightweight stroller. What's been improved? What's remained the same? And what about the new and existing accessories? We're spilling every detail in this blog.
What's new with the Joolz Aer+?
This is probably the most frequently asked question we've received so far: “what's the difference between the original Joolz Aer and the new Joolz Aer+?”. We get it! We're breaking down the most significant changes we've made to the Joolz Aer+ so you and your little one both experience the best comfort during your daily strolls.
Super extended sunhood
Make way, make way, we're introducing our super extended sunhood to shelter your little one from any unwanted sunbeams and distractions. It offers UPF 50+ protection and extra ventilation once you fully lower the sunhood. Tip: this also helps creating a cosy, dark spot for your baby's naps.
Comfortable sleeping
Something else we're extremely excited about: the seat of the Joolz Aer+ can be fully reclined for speedy snoozes or the deepest of dreams. The seat now has 3 positions, so your little one can enjoy the ride while sitting up, relaxing or sleeping. Win, win, win!
Buckle up!
Just like the original Joolz Aer, the Joolz Aer+ contains a 5-point click & go buckle. However, we did improve the harness with adjustable straps that won't move until you want them to. What a relief!
Lots of luggage space
Need some extra space? We've got it! The Joolz Aer+ comes with a wider shopping basket that now fits up to 5 kg. No more holding back when bringing your most important parenting essentials.
They see me rolling
To make your strolls even more comfortable, we've improved the wheels with a new design and suspension. Smooth sailing guaranteed 😉
Giving new life to plastic
Last but not least: With the launch of this brand-new buggy, we're strolling towards a better world! All the Joolz Aer+ fabrics are made of 100% recycled PET materials. Read more about our sustainable fabrics here.
What's remained the same with the Joolz Aer+?
As you can see, we've done quite some (smaller) updates to create the Joolz Aer+. However, some things are still exactly the same as the original Joolz Aer. Simply because we believe these features already were pretty perfect the way they were.
Easy fold
Just like the original Joolz Aer, the Joolz Aer+ is still incredibly easy to fold. But this time we've made it even easier! You can now fold the stroller with the Joolz Aer+ bumper bar attached. Sweet!
Lightweight
Probably one of the most important features of the Aer had to make a comeback through the Joolz Aer+: it had to stay extremely lightweight. And we managed! The Joolz Aer+ is easy to carry, as it only weighs 6 kg and comes with a smart shoulder strap.
Airplane compatible
The folded measurements of the Joolz Aer+ are 45x53.5x21.5 cm, which means it fits the tiniest places and is completely airplane proof. Please note to always check the airline to make sure if and how you can bring the buggy with you, because this can vary.
What's new with the Joolz Aer+ accessories?

And what about the existing Joolz Aer accessories?
Good news! Most of the existing Joolz Aer accessories are also compatible with the Joolz Aer+. Also, most of the Joolz Aer+ accessories are compatible with the original Joolz Aer. However, there are two important notes to keep in mind:
1. The Joolz Aer+ bumper bar doesn't match the original Joolz Aer
2. The Joolz Aer+ footboard is compatible with the original Joolz Aer, but the wheel design is different.
3. The old Joolz Aer leg rest is only compatible with the Joolz Aer, not the Aer+
